eMotoRacing takes the game to Wisconsin this weekend, to the Road America track which is no stranger to SPEED. This track was born from a glacial area, and features fantastic sections such as Moraine Sweep and Kettle Bottoms.
The practice run is on Friday the 6th, with race-days on the 7th and 8th.
Bikes will be charged using the ingeniously designed portable solar trailer on loan from Solar Alternatives out of New Orleans. By using this method, the eBikes truly become zero-emissions.
A full press release detailing both races on May 1st and May 2nd will be available in the next day or two, but here are the results from Day One, along with some great pictures of the race to whet your appetite:
This will be eMotoRacing’s biggest event ever with several factory Zero entries, two Brammo factory entries and several privateers.
Notable riders will include Eric Bostrom, Dave Sadowski, Doug Smith, Arthur Kowitz.
Just arrived in California, look at those pretty skies! eMotoRacing came ready to harness the sun!
Also in the paddock will be the Solar Alternative of New Orleans’ solar generating trailer, which will charge two of the racers completely emission-free.
This coming weekend, April 25th – 27th, eMotoRacing will race in California for the first time at Willow Springs International Raceway, near Rosamond and Lancaster. This historic raceway is filled with elevation changes, high speeds, and is noted as one of the most challenging tracks in the U.S.
Among this weekend’s participants is Dave Roper — the first American to win an International Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy). He will race on a Brammo.
A couple of production Zero eBikes are also expected to participate, intending to challenge the lead that has been held by our current Brammo riders.
